- Evaluated merger and acquisition proposals to maximize shareholder equity resulting in 43 bank mergers and 17 start-up de nova National Banks. Created and implemented a daily asset/liability management reporting system which provided timely, accurate sources/uses of funds needed to manage the daily cash requirements of a 60 Bank Holding Company.
- Participated in the investment committee responsible for managing $60-Billion in corporate assets.
- Appointed to Federal Reserve Advisory Board and National Bank Administration Institute Standards Committee addressing legal issues, and standards during the de-regulation of cash management services.
- Published articles on Product Development, Cash Reporting & Control, Electronic Funds Transfer and Deposit Concentration.
- Assisted in the design, development and implementation of the first fully automated wire transfer system, which integrated both foreign and domestic funds transfer functions interfaced worldwide.
- Recruited, trained and supervised 32 bank officers and support staff in order to maintain member bank, product management and development of The Cash Management Division for Texas Commerce Bancshares.
- Organized and founded the first international factoring company specializing in the purchase of contracts in the exportation of goods and services to Mexico. Negotiated with foreign banks to develop operating procedures and legal documents to obtain US-Dollar credit lines.
- Designed, developed and implemented complex credit facilities and cash management banking systems for Fortune 500 companies such companies as Dow Chemical, Shell Oil, Pennzoil, Combustion Engineering, and American Express. Managed a $3.5-million budget for the marketing and operations of all cash management functions.
- Demonstrates strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving and decision-making skills while promoting a team concept in a corporate environment.
- Possess’ vast experience in merging business entities and systems integration including the formulation of policy, procedures, contingency plans, system testing and detail documentation.
